Healthy Chinese Food Recipe 1 - Sweet and Sour Spareribs

Ingredients: (serves 6)


400g (14oz)   Pork Rib
20g (2/3 oz)   Lemon Juice
1.5 T. Cooking Oil
custom sauce: Mix of .5 Cup, 3 T. each of Sugar, Vinegar, 1 T.of soy sauce and 1 t. Cornstarch


Directions:
1. Clean ribs and cut into 3 cm.-long chunks. Marinate with "custom sauce" for 20 minutes.  Remove and retain marinade.
2.  Heat wok; add 1.5 T. oil, and fry ribs until golden brown. Stir in retained marinade and simmer over low heat for 8 - 10 minutes.
3.  Turn up heat again and allow to boil until liquid has evaporated. Stir in lemon juice, mix well and server.
